With a career spanning over three decades, Haji Izzudin has demonstrated a profound commitment to community service and humanitarian causes. In 1993, he began his journey with the Mustadafin Foundation in Cape Town, South Africa, focusing on community development and humanitarian aid. Three years later, in 1996, he joined the Somali Community in Liverpool, UK, where he served as Deputy Director, leading outreach, advocacy, and cultural preservation efforts. In 2001, he extended his impact to the EU Somali Diaspora in North London as Deputy Director, contributing to integration, education, and welfare programs. In 2004, Haji Izzudin was elected Chairman of the Somali community in Stockholm, Sweden, where he spearheaded initiatives to strengthen community bonds and address residents’ needs. Throughout his career, Haji Izzudin’s leadership and dedication have inspired positive change and unity in communities around the world.
